Meeting is registered for 5 CPD points.
This meeting will bring together the clinical and scientific interests of the UK Clinical Infection Research Group (UKCIRG), which is broadly interested in improving S. aureus treatment, and the Oxford Modernising Medical Microbiology Group, which is focused on understanding and preventing S. aureus transmission and disease.
The aims are:
1. To review the current state of global research in S. aureus disease prevention and treatment
2. To review and debate how (UK) clinical and laboratory science can improve the outcome from severe S. aureus disease over the next 10 years.
